Reaction to winning: “We normally win Best French Fries, but having the added one with the drive-thru this year is exciting for us and our team. It shows that some of the hard work we’ve been doing is paying off, so we’re excited about that,” said Steven Lind, owner and operator of the McDonald’s restaurants in Fargo, Moorhead and West Fargo. “We’ve been working on our drive-thru service since early spring, and it’s nice to be recognized by the community and our customers.”
Secret to your success: “My secret to success is my people,” Lind said. “I try to surround myself with the best people possible.”
One thing people don’t know about your business: “I don’t know that everyone knows we’re locally owned and operated,” Lind said. “We also have just under 600 employees for our 10 restaurants in Fargo, Moorhead and West Fargo.”
